Egdon Resources plc (the "Company") was informed on 5 December 2008 that on 19 August 2008 Mr John Rix, Non-Executive Director, was the beneficiary of a distribution in specie from a VCT trust which held Ordinary Shares in the Company and as result 872 shares were transferred to him. Similarly 1,744 shares were transferred to his wife.
Mr Rix's total beneficial shareholding in the Company has as a result increased by 2,616 shares to a total of 1,293,949 Ordinary Shares, representing 1.89% of the issued share capital of the Company.
