

Onshore France
Egdon has one licence in France, St Laurent, located onshore in the Aquitaine Basin of SW France. The Aquitaine Basin has both oil and gas production. Egdon's focus in the permit is the Grenade heavy oil accumulation.

Play Types:
- Albian heavy oil play - in north east of licence
- Aptian-Albian carbonate gas play
- Triassic sandstone gas play
- Lower Cretaceous and Jurassic carbonate gas play
Prospectivity:
- Discovered heavy oil (10o API) in Aptian age carbonates at Grenade sur Adour-1.
- Combination structural-stratigraphic gas play in Albian age carbonates on the southern falnk of the Audignon Ridge
- Multi-TCF Triassic "sub-salt" gas prospect along the E-W trending Audignon Ridge
- Salt-withdrawal structure in the Dax area
Planned Activity:
- Renewal submitted for further 5 year term
- Decision on sidetrack of Grenade-3 well and/or further appraisal
- Farm-out Audignon Prospect for drilling in 2009
- New Applications pending in the Parentis and Molasse Basins
